St. Petersburg track star among victims in NAS Pensacola shooting

Lakewood High School track and field star, Mohammed “Mo” Haitham fell victim to the NAS Pensacola shooting according to the Tampa Bay Times.

Mohammed Haitham was a track and field star at Lakewood, known for his long legs, big smile, and good high jump scores according to the article.

The Tampa Bay Times reports Haitham graduated in 2018 from Lakewood and then enlisted in the U.S Navy.

He finished boot camp and was recently assigned to flight crew training in Florida, the article says.

Haitham surprised his family in St. Petersburg on Thanksgiving, the article says.
