Jim Beatty, President of Jim Beatty Golf Ventures and Executive Editor of the African American Golfers Digest, the nation’s leading African American golf publication, announced on Wednesday at the 67th PGA Merchandise Show & Convention in Orlando, Fla., plans to convene the First Annual African American Golf Expo and Forum to be held February 21 -23, 2021 in Atlanta, Georgia. Full-day sessions will be held at the Hilton Atlanta/Marietta Hotel & Conference Center with evening functions and other attendee activities being planned.
The 3-day comprehensive event will offer merchandising and sales opportunities for companies that seek to tap into the $1.2 Trillion African American consumer market, which includes over $1 Billion spent on sporting goods and apparel.
